Gamma Psi

The Gamma Psi Chapter of Zeta Tau Alpha received its charter in 1955 at Texas Christian University.  Gamma Psi is the 96th link in the chain of chapters nationally.

Gamma Psi Renovation

During the Summer of 1999 we were able to redecorate the entryway, restroom, and kitchen. All were painted, with new cabinets being installed in the kitchen.  We were able to purchase several new pieces of furniture, recover several existing pieces, and purchase coordinating accessories for all rooms.  Jimmie Sue Hoekenga, a member of our Alumnae Chapter, was our Interior Designer, and she did a fantastic job!
   Also, Marsha Williams, Dorothy Hudson, and Harriett Adams coordinated a fundraiser to purchase a Baby Grand Piano, in memory of Sandy Palmer Thompson, a Gamma Psi Zeta.  The piano was presented to the Gamma Psi Chapter on Homecoming Day at a dedication in honor of Sandy.  We greatly appreciate all the time Marsha, Dorothy, and Harriet spent working on this memorial.
Additionally, Harriett Adams donated a beautiful dark wood chest to be placed in the entryway.  We want to thank Harriett for her generosity.
